Duncan Jones, son of the late David Bowie, had some withering words for Lady Gaga following her GRAMMY tribute to his father. When Lorde took to the stage at last night’s Brit Awards, all eyes were on the Bowie estate’s toughest critic: Would he take aim, or would her more subdued tribute make the grade?
“Finally found the links to tonight’s Brits. Just… beautiful. Thank you,” he tweeted shortly after the show.
Lorde’s version of “Life on Mars?” skipped theatrics in favor of an instrumental Bowie medley and montage, placing the late icon squarely at the heart of the proceedings.
