One of America’s greatest rock and roll treasures Cheap Trick, play out at Marymoor Park this Friday night, co-headlining with possibly England’s biggest star of the late 70’s, Peter Frampton. For a little inside dirt on what to expect, bass player Tom Petersson took the time to phone KZOK’s resident Cheap Trick fanatic Scott Vanderpool to talk about his band, the two artist’s Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band connection, Seattle and the legions of famous… and not so… rockers here who love them, the bass, inspirational and influential bass players (one of whom we lost in June), the great work he’s doing on behalf of autistic kids, one of which he has, and…other stuff.

There were still tickets left for Friday night’s show left last time we checked…go to the Marymoor Park Concert Series website here.
