ap8109240302 Rolling Stones Plan To Jam In LondonThe Rolling Stones In 1981…

Keith Richards plans to meet with fellow [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rolling Stones[/lastfm] band mates Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts later this month in London.

They plan to play a few tunes together, not necessarily record new material but more like a hang out and play session. The group hasn’t played together a few years.  [pullquote quote=”You don’t necessarily want to rehearse or write anything – you just want to touch bases. ” credit=”Keith Richards”]  Richards says it is unclear whether Mick Jagger will show up, but the invitation is open and they hope he will end up showing up for the jam out session in the studio.

With the Rolling Stones’ 50 year anniversary, people have started to wonder what the iconic band will do, if anything. Nothing has been announced to commemorate their anniversary. But to calm those desires to see the band perform their greatest hits, you can settle for their Some Girls Live in Texas DVD, which was shot in Fort Worth during the Stones’ summer tour in 1978.  The DVD will be a part of the Some Girls reissue that is set to come out on November 22nd. The special release will include 12 previously unreleased tracks.
