If star power is what you want from a music video cameo, it’s hard to beat The Boss. R&B titan Darlene Love has just shared a new video for her song  “Forbidden Nights,” in which she goes for a cruise with a celeb-studded cast of friends.

This video could go up against any SNL special for sheer star-power: Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, Joan Jett, Bill Murray, Elvis Costello, Paul Shaffer and E Street Band-member Steven Van Zandt all hop in the backseat of Love’s red Cadillac convertible and join her on her cruise.

As for the song, it’s “sha-la-las” in the chorus harken back to the golden age of 60’s pop music. It comes off Love’s forthcoming album Introducing Darlene Love, which will be released on September 18th through Zandt’s label Wicked Cool.

So how about that Springsteen appearance? It turns out he’s not just a friend, but a collaborator of Love’s—he’s written two of the songs that will appear on her highly anticipated album.

If you like what you hear, catch Love and Van Zandt in concert at Asbury Park’s Paramount Theater on Sept. 12.
