Stevie Wonder announced today an extended run of dates for his Songs in the Key of Life Performance tour, which is a live adaptation of his classic 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life. As it’s a double album (which also included a bonus 45″ when it was originally released on vinyl), nearly the entire set is taken up by the album; it’s a contrast to the greatest hits shows he’d been doing in recent years. Wonder has added an additional twenty cities to the tour, beginning September 30th in Montreal.
This leg will mark the final performances of the tour. The final show at Madison Square Garden will bring the tour full circle as Stevie concludes the trek at the same venue it began at on November 6, 2014.
