Duff McKagan took a brief break from promoting his new book How to Be a Man at Seattle’s Neptune Theater last night (May 17) for a performance.

He and Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic took the stage to play a unique instrumental version of “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

Novoselic joined McKagan and began the song on accordion to a surprised audience. The six-minute performance had the crowd silent, except for a few moments where they’d join in on the chorus.
