Mike Gastineau:      SEAHAWKS LUCKY THINGS DIDN’T GET WORSE Read More

Sort of. Got an email this morning from BTO and Guess Who guitarist Randy Bachman, telling me about the Rock Legends II cruise with Bachman and Turner, Blue Oyster Cult, Foreigner, Paul Rodgers, Kansas, Foghat, The Marshall Tucker Band, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Pat Travers, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Black Oak Arkansas, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, and many more. The Royal Caribbean’s luxurious Liberty of the Seas cruise ship leaves Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 10th, making it’s way to the private fenced-off Labadee resort in Haiti, returning January 14th. Of course it ain’t free. Prices range from about $700 for a shared room in “steerage” to nearly $6000 for a 1st-class “royal suite”, but nearly everything but airfare and booze is included, and proceeds go to the Native American Heritage Association, who provide emergency assistance and self-help programs to Sioux living on reservations in South Dakota. We heard from several KZOK listeners who made the trip last year, and they raved about what a good time it was.

Details here.
