Tonight (8/11) is the peak of the annual perseid meteor shower and we are in the front row! This celestial annual has been entertaining earthlings for over 2,000 years and the peak occurs tonight (or early tomorrow morning) just prior to sunrise with upwards of 60 meteors flashing us every hour.
For us Seattleites, looking half way up into the twilight and towards Spokane will promise the best viewing. And I think Venus and Mars will open tonights show accompanying the one and only Man on the Moon. What a line up!
