Sammy Hagar turned 63 years old yesterday. The Chickenfoot rocker looks pretty good for his age and filled us in on how he handles getting older.
“I found the real secret in life. It’s like, if you’re gonna be a year older every year, no one’s gonna dodge your birthday, there’s no way to get out of that, right?. So I’ve learned to throw a party for two weeks in Cabo, from October 1st to the 15th, and that way, at least you have a reason why you’re a year older. After partying that hard for two weeks, everyone’s a year older (laughs.”
Sammy was once again in Cabo leading up to his birthday this year and Chickenfoot even performed a surprise concert at Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina there this past weekend. The band heads out on a mini-tour next month
