Mike Gastineau:      SEAHAWKS LUCKY THINGS DIDN’T GET WORSE Read More

They are back and ready to kick major ass! Most people thought that after the tragic death of co-founding Quiet Riot singer Kevin DuBrow in 2007, the days of the band were counted. But thanks to the efforts of drummer Frankie Banali, Chuck Wright (bass) and Alex Grossi (guitar),an upcoming documentary about Quiet Riot, and their music featured in several movies, Quiet Riot was ready to start again.

The only problem was that they needed a singer and to replace someone like Kevin DuBrow was not going to be and easy task. Fortunately they bumped into Mark Huff, whose performance in a California-based Van Halen tribute band caught the attention of the members of the band. After getting the blessing from DuBrow’s mother to carry on with Quiet Riot the group was ready to start hitting the stage again.

Now the band is back on tour, and hopefully we’ll get to see them in Seattle soon. Check this clip of a recent peformance with their new singer. Do you think he can fill the Kevin DuBrow’s shoes?
